Chinese-Linked Cyberattacks Target European Organizations, Including Health Sector

A cyberattack campaign, named Green Nailao by Orange Cyberdefense CERT, has targeted European organizations, particularly in the healthcare sector. The attackers exploited a recently patched security vulnerability to deploy PlugX and its successor, ShadowPad, sometimes leading to the installation of the NailaoLocker ransomware. The impacts include risks of data loss and operational disruptions. It is recommended to patch vulnerable systems for protection.
