New Episode of No Limite SQ Podcast Features Purple Voice Founders

In this special episode of the No Limite SQ podcast, the hosts discuss with Raphaël Elouse and Nabil Diab, the founders of the Purple Voice podcast, which is dedicated to cybersecurity. Raphaël and Nabil share their journey and the motivations behind creating Purple Voice, a French-language podcast that focuses on the operational and technical aspects of cybersecurity, particularly Blue Team and Red Team activities.

Raphaël explains that the idea for Purple Voice came from his experience with the SANS Force 508 training, where he realized the importance of having resources in French for cybersecurity professionals. He emphasizes that while English-language podcasts are rich in content, they can be difficult for francophones to follow, especially after a long day at work. Purple Voice aims to fill this gap by offering in-depth discussions on technical and operational topics, with practical and actionable advice.

The Purple Voice podcast stands out for its 360° approach, covering both the perspectives of Blue Team (defense) and Red Team (attack). This approach provides a comprehensive view of the techniques used by attackers and the corresponding defense methods. For example, an episode might cover lateral movements, first explaining how attackers proceed, then detailing the detection and prevention measures that defense teams can implement.

The founders of Purple Voice stress the importance of collaboration between Blue and Red Teams, noting that this interaction creates a synergy that enhances an organization's overall security. They explain that Blue Teams often have a theoretical understanding of attacks, while Red Teams have practical knowledge of vulnerabilities and exploitation methods. By working together, these teams can better understand threats and strengthen their defenses.

The podcast also addresses technical topics such as privilege escalation, credential theft, and lateral movements, explaining how these techniques are used by attackers and how defenders can detect and prevent them. Episodes are structured to provide an introduction to the topic, followed by episodes dedicated to offensive and defensive perspectives, with expert guests enriching the discussions.

The hosts of No Limite SQ and the founders of Purple Voice also discuss the technical and logistical challenges of creating a podcast, including the time and effort required to record, edit, and broadcast episodes. They share their experiences and lessons learned, emphasizing the importance of preparation and planning to ensure content quality.

In conclusion, Purple Voice positions itself as a valuable resource for French-speaking cybersecurity professionals, offering technical and operational insights that can be directly applied to their daily work. The founders encourage listeners to provide feedback and suggest topics for future episodes to continue enriching the podcast's content.
