Telegram Account Hacks Surge Due to Phishing

Analysts from F6 (formerly FACCT) have studied the theft of Telegram user accounts. According to the researchers, the number of account hijackings using phishing resources increased by 25.5% in the second half of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. This increase is primarily due to the appeal of NFT gifts and interactions with celebrities. Attackers use phishing techniques to obtain users' login information, allowing them to take control of the accounts.
