Safe{Wallet} Confirms North Korean State-Sponsored Cyber Attack on Bybit

Safe{Wallet} has confirmed that the cybersecurity incident resulting in the theft of $1.5 billion in cryptocurrencies from Bybit was a "sophisticated, state-sponsored attack." The North Korean threat actors behind this hack have taken steps to erase traces of malicious activity to complicate investigation efforts. The multi-signature platform has engaged Google Cloud Mandiant to assist in the investigation.
