US Secret Service Seizes Russian Cryptocurrency Exchange Garantex

The website of the cryptocurrency exchange Garantex ("garantex[.]org") has been seized by a coalition of international law enforcement agencies, nearly three years after being sanctioned by the United States Department of the Treasury in April 2022. The domain of Garantex was seized by the United States Secret Service in accordance with a seizure warrant obtained by the United States Attorney's Office. This action follows measures taken against Garantex for its alleged role in illegal activities.
