The Lazarus Group, a cybercriminal organization aligned with North Korean interests, has converted at least $300 million of their stolen cryptocurrency, estimated to be worth $1.5 billion, into funds that are now unrecoverable. The attack targeted the cryptocurrency exchange platform ByBit. This conversion makes the stolen funds unrecoverable, according to the BBC.
