Cybersecurity experts are warning about the widespread exploitation of a critical vulnerability in PHP, referenced as CVE-2024-4577. This vulnerability, rated with a CVSS score of 9.8, allows an attacker to execute code remotely on vulnerable servers using Apache and PHP-CGI. More than 1,000 attacks have already been detected globally. Researchers from GreyNoise have reported large-scale exploitation of this flaw.
