In the fourth quarter of 2024, Cloudflare observed a record DDoS attack reaching 5.6 Tbps, originating from only 13,000 unique IP addresses. According to Orange Cyberdefense, the Dark Storm Team, active since September 2023, has carried out various attacks, including ransomware, data theft, and DDoS, for financial and ideological motives.
