An investigation conducted by Mandiant has uncovered a stealthy espionage campaign orchestrated by a Chinese actor, identified as UNC3886. This campaign, which began in mid-2024, targeted end-of-life Junos OS routers from Juniper Networks, deploying custom malware on them. Mandiant collaborated with Juniper Networks to conduct this investigation.
