An in-depth study on iOS applications has revealed widespread hardcoded secret leaks and deplorable coding practices. Researchers analyzed more than 16,000 applications and discovered that 6,000 of them contained hardcoded secrets, such as API keys and passwords. These vulnerabilities can be exploited by attackers to access sensitive information.
