The North Korean cyber threat group ScarCruft has deployed a new Android surveillance tool called KoSpy, targeting Korean and English-speaking users. Lookout, which shared the details of the campaign, indicated that the first versions of KoSpy date back to March 2022, with the most recent samples detected in March 2024. The effectiveness of these efforts is not clear.
