The author introduces Project Deep Focus, an open-source tool designed to run locally for network reconnaissance. It scans IP ranges in real time to identify exposed services (such as HTTP, SSH, FTP, RTSP, VNC, etc.), detect authentication requirements, and, where possible, recognize devices and models. The tool features a terminal-based dashboard for live visualization of results and is built to be lightweight, fast, and scalable. Compatible with macOS, Linux, and Windows, it is intended for asset discovery, lab environments, and authorized security testing.
