Microsoft has seized servers and disrupted the RedVDS platform, a virtual desktop service used by cybercriminals to host malicious tools, botnets, and attack infrastructures. The operation targeted servers in Russia and the United States, resulting in the service's activities being interrupted. RedVDS allowed attackers to rent virtual machines to conduct phishing campaigns, ransomware attacks, and other illegal activities. The disruption was coordinated with international partners.
