CrashFix Attack Combines Malicious Browser Extensions and Social Engineering to Deploy Python-Based RAT

A newly identified attack dubbed 'CrashFix' employs three components to compromise systems: a malicious browser extension called NexShield, a social engineering technique that causes the browser to crash, and a Python-based Remote Access Trojan (RAT). This campaign merges the installation of malicious extensions with manipulation tactics to deploy malware on victims' machines.
