Daniel Stenberg, founder and lead developer of Curl, has announced the closure of the project's bug bounty program on the HackerOne platform. The decision follows an uncontrolled influx of low-quality vulnerability reports, a significant portion of which is generated by artificial intelligence. This situation has made the program ineffective in identifying genuine security issues within the open-source Curl project.
