Open Source Tool Developed to Query EU Regulations via AI Assistants

A user has developed an open-source tool in the form of an MCP server that allows direct querying of 37 European regulations from AI assistants such as Claude Desktop or Cursor. The tool offers full-text search across over 2,400 articles, comparisons between regulations, and mappings to frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST CSF. Initially designed for internal use, it has been released freely without restrictions. The project aims to simplify access to regulatory requirements such as DORA, NIS2, and the upcoming CRA.
