Open-Source Terminal Game Enhances Windows CMD Skills for Incident Response

The author has developed CyberResponders, an open-source terminal-based game designed to improve proficiency in Windows CMD commands within an incident response context. Players take on the role of an Incident Responder and must follow a playbook by entering the correct commands, with five attempts allowed before a game over. The game includes a help command to display supported CMD commands along with their details (description, syntax, parameters). The goal is to successfully complete the remediation to win the game.
