Cybersecurity Professional Overwhelmed by Documentation and Workload

The author has been working for three years in a government process support role for Authorization to Operate (ATO), which involves reading case studies, design reviews, architectural diagrams (CDRLs), as well as drafting system security plans and system characterization documents. They also mention having to take meeting notes, a task they find challenging. Currently, they are experiencing headaches and anxiety while simultaneously analyzing feedback from a prime contractor and technical documents to identify gaps in security requirements.
