CERT-FR Issues Notice on Cybercriminals' Use of Generative AI in Attacks

CERT-FR published on February 4, 2026 a notice regarding the use of generative artificial intelligence by cyber attackers. Generative AI is progressively being integrated into the range of tools and services used by cybercriminals, regardless of their profile. Generative AI models are now being exploited in the context of cyber attacks. The article addresses this evolution of technical means available to malicious actors and the adoption of these emerging technologies in their operations.
