German Intelligence Agencies Warn of Targeted Attack on Signal Messenger Users

The BfV (Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution) and the BSI (Federal Office for Information Security) in Germany have issued a warning regarding an attack targeting users of the Signal messenger. The attack, revealed last week, specifically targets members of the Bundestag as well as other important figures including military personnel and diplomats. German authorities deemed it necessary to alert these groups of people about this security threat.
