The Italian Data Protection Authority has published its semi-annual inspection plan. This document follows the continuity of previous semesters and presents implications for the governance of complex data processing operations. The inspection plan constitutes a strategic guidance instrument in addition to its supervisory function. It particularly concerns data controllers (titolari) and Data Protection Officers (DPO). The article addresses the elements that emerge from this plan for these actors within the framework of their GDPR compliance.
