
CISA Orders U.S. Federal Agencies to Enhance Management of Edge Network Devices and Replace Unsupported Ones

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has directed U.S. federal agencies to improve the management of edge network devices and replace those that are no longer supported within a 12 to 18-month timeframe. According to the binding operational directive 26-02, Mitigating Risk From End-of-Support Edge Devices, federal civilian agencies must strengthen the management of these devices throughout their lifecycle.
