On February 26, 2026, the Cyber Security Agency (CSA) of Singapore revealed that the Chinese cyber espionage group UNC3886 targeted the country's telecommunications sector. UNC3886 conducted a deliberate, targeted, and well-planned campaign against Singapore's four major telecommunications operators: M1, SIMBA Telecom, Singtel, and an unnamed fourth operator.
