Google, through its parent company Alphabet, is in advanced discussions to acquire the cloud cybersecurity startup Wiz. According to a source close to the matter, the two companies were on the verge of reaching a deal valued at $23 billion last summer, but the transaction did not materialize. Today, discussions have resumed with a higher valuation. The deal has been finalized at $32 billion in cash.
