Watsonville Community Hospital Faces Identity Theft Issues Months After Cyberattack

In November, the Watsonville Community Hospital fell victim to a cyberattack. Several months after the incident, around 20 hospital employees report being victims of identity theft. Some employees have reported fraudulent tax filings in their name, indicating that someone else has attempted to file income tax returns on their behalf. The hospital has still not notified all individuals affected by the data breach.
