Roadmap/Plan for Cyber Careers

The author, who has been working in IT at the helpdesk level for 5 years, wishes to reorient towards cybersecurity. Their plan includes obtaining CCNA certification, learning Linux and HTB modules, and transitioning to a network engineer position. They then plan to take the Sec+ exam, obtain blue team and red team certifications, and aim for junior security roles and penetration testing positions over a 5-year period.
