Former University of Michigan Football Coach Indicted on Cybercrime Charges

Matthew Weiss, former Co-Offensive Coordinator at the University of Michigan, was indicted on March 20, 2025, on a 24-count indictment, including 14 counts of unauthorized access to computers and 10 counts of aggravated identity theft. Weiss, 42, of Ann Arbor, faces these charges according to an announcement by Julie A. Beck, Deputy Attorney General of the United States, and Cheyvoryea Gibson, Special Agent in Charge.
