ESET Research Confirms Link Between Chinese Subcontractor I-SOON and FishMonger Espionage Group

ESET Research has confirmed the link between the Chinese subcontractor I-SOON and the FishMonger group, responsible for several global espionage operations. The U.S. Department of Justice has indicted I-SOON employees for their involvement in these attacks, which targeted a geopolitical think tank in France. The operations have been documented by ESET Research in its Cyber Threat Intelligence reports. FishMonger is identified as the operational arm of I-SOON.
