Oracle Denies Data Breach After Hacker Claims Theft of 6 Million Records
Security
Oracle has denied suffering a data breach after a malicious actor claimed to be selling 6 million data records allegedly stolen from Oracle Cloud's federated SSO login servers. The hacker claimed to have accessed the servers by exploiting a vulnerability in Oracle's Identity and Access Management (IAM) system. The stolen data is said to include sensitive information such as usernames, email addresses, and hashed passwords. Oracle has firmly denied these allegations, stating that no evidence of a compromise has been found.
