ESET researchers have detected cyberespionage activity conducted by the Chinese-aligned APT group MirrorFace against a diplomatic institute in Central Europe linked to the Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. MirrorFace, known for its attacks on Japanese organizations, has for the first time attempted to infiltrate a European target.
