The University of North Georgia (UNG), a lesser-known senior military college, won a capture-the-flag hacking contest at the Pentagon’s Cyber Workforce Summit. The competition, designed by the Air Force Research Laboratory, included operationally realistic challenges such as geo-locating a target, blocking warning messages, and simulating an air strike. UNG outperformed the other five senior military colleges and two elite service academies, defeating The Citadel in the final round.
