An advanced threat group linked to China, named Weaver Ant, spent more than four years in the network of a telecommunications service provider, concealing traffic and infrastructure using compromised Zyxel CPE routers. This group exploited vulnerabilities to gain access to the network and monitor communications over an extended period.
