INTERPOL's Operation Red Card Leads to 306 Arrests and Seizure of 1,842 Devices in Africa

Between November 2024 and February 2025, an international operation named Red Card led to the arrest of 306 suspects and the seizure of 1,842 devices in seven African countries. This initiative, coordinated by INTERPOL, aimed to disrupt and dismantle transnational criminal networks causing significant harm to individuals and businesses. The operation resulted in the confiscation of devices used in cybercriminal activities, thereby contributing to the fight against cybercrime in Africa.
