A family of Android malware, previously observed targeting Indian military personnel, has been linked to a new campaign likely aimed at users in Taiwan under the guise of chat applications. According to the analysis by Pankaj Kohli, a security researcher at Sophos, PJobRAT can steal SMS messages, phone contacts, device and application information, documents, and multimedia files from infected Android devices. This campaign uses fake chat applications to deceive users and infect their devices.
