Multiple Security Incidents Reported: Apple Exploit, Texas Data Breach, and Novo Nordisk Code Leak
A new exploit targeting Apple’s A12 and A13 Bionic chips, used in iPhone XS, iPhone 11, and select iPad models, was disclosed, enabling potential kernel-level code execution. The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed a breach exposing personal data of 3 million driver’s license and ID holders after a third-party vendor misconfigured a cloud storage bucket. Novo Nordisk reported a code leak involving proprietary diabetes and weight-loss drug research, with stolen source code surfacing on underground forums in early June 2026. No CVE IDs were provided for the Apple exploit, and the Texas breach occurred due to an unsecured AWS S3 bucket. The Novo Nordisk incident is under investigation, with no confirmed attribution to a specific threat actor.
