The Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) held its seventh plenary meeting of 2025 and decided to sanction Woori Card Co., Ltd. (Woori Card) for data violations on March 26, 2025. The administrative sanctions imposed by the PIPC include a penalty of KRW 13.45 billion for violations (Gwajingguem) and an order to publish the results of the sanctions.
