New RESURGE Malware Exploits Ivanti Vulnerability

The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has revealed the existence of a new malware called RESURGE, which is being exploited to target a security flaw that has been fixed in Ivanti Connect Secure (ICS) appliances. RESURGE has capabilities similar to the SPAWNCHIMERA malware variant, including the ability to survive reboots, but it includes distinctive commands. This malware has been deployed as part of exploitation activities targeting this vulnerability.
