US Department of Justice Seizes Over $8 Million in 'Pig Butchering' Online Scam

The United States Department of Justice (DoJ) has seized more than $8 million as part of a "pig butchering" operation, a type of online scam. The stolen funds were traced to three main cryptocurrency accounts after being routed through a series of other platforms. This operation allowed for the recovery of some of the funds diverted by cybercriminals.
