Steam Forum ClickFix Campaigns Distribute XMRig Cryptominers to Gamers

Attackers are abusing Steam discussion forums in ClickFix campaigns to distribute XMRig cryptominers by disguising malicious links as fixes for gaming or computer issues. The attacks target gamers who interact with forum posts offering deceptive troubleshooting solutions. Once executed, the malware hijacks system resources to mine cryptocurrency, degrading performance and increasing power consumption.
