Iranian Nimbus Manticore Hacking Group Uses New Malware Families Targeting Linux and macOS

The Iranian Nimbus Manticore hacking group has been linked to two previously undocumented malware families. These malware families enable cross-platform remote access trojans (RATs) targeting Linux and Apple macOS systems, developed using Node.js and JavaScript. The group is posing as recruiters to deliver these RATs through coding tests. Russian cybersecurity company Kaspersky is tracking this activity.
