Microsoft is warning about a high-volume phishing campaign that uses invisible Unicode tag characters to evade email filters. The attackers employed these characters to split financial lure words such as "funding" to prevent email filters from parsing them. The Microsoft Security Research team reported that the campaign has sent millions of emails using this technique to bypass security controls.
