WordPress Security Survey Reveals Lack of Breach Recovery Plans Among Professionals

Melapress, a WordPress security plugin maker, surveyed 319 WordPress professionals including agency staff, developers, designers, site owners and administrators who build and run WordPress sites professionally. The survey found that most respondents had dealt with at least one known security incident. Fewer than three in ten of the surveyed WordPress professionals have a breach recovery plan in place. A recovery plan establishes in advance who responds to incidents, where clean backups are located, and who needs to be notified.
