Researchers discovered more than 16,000 misconfigured Supabase databases that expose readable tables containing sensitive information. The exposed data includes personally identifiable information, passwords, and authentication tokens. The security issue stems from misconfigurations in Supabase database implementations that allow unauthorized access to data that should be protected.
