Cybersecurity agencies from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States have issued a joint advisory on the risks associated with a technique known as fast flux, used by cybercriminals to conceal command and control (C2) channels. Fast flux enables the obscuring of malicious server locations by rapidly changing DNS records. This technique makes malware, C2, and phishing networks more resilient and harder to detect.
