NIST to Introduce "Deferred" Status for Dated Vulnerabilities in NVD

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is set to implement a "deferred" status for dated vulnerabilities in the National Vulnerability Database (NVD). These changes will come into effect over the next few days to reflect which Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) are prioritized.
