Researchers discovered over 2,100 publicly exposed NVIDIA DCGM Exporter monitoring endpoints revealing telemetry from approximately 12,000 GPUs worth around $100M, including H100s, H200s, and Blackwell models. They identified a high-severity vulnerability (CVE-2026-47483, CVSS 8.2) that allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust server resources, crash GPU monitoring, and potentially disrupt AI workloads remotely. The research found that 60% of exposed GPUs reported 0% utilization, and an additional 12,096 servers exposed infrastructure details including OS, firmware, and networking information. NVIDIA has fixed the vulnerability following responsible disclosure.
