Microsoft Teams to Integrate Third-Party Deepfake Detection Tools in November 2026

Microsoft Teams will enable third-party deepfake detection tools to display alerts during meetings starting in November 2026. The integration will allow external deepfake detection solutions to work within the Teams platform to warn users during video conferences. This represents a new security capability being added to Microsoft Teams to address the growing threat of deepfake technology in virtual meetings.
