The Wi-Fi Pineapple Pager device includes a censorship mode feature designed to protect sensitive information during demonstrations and content creation. When conducting reconnaissance scans, users may inadvertently expose their home network SSIDs or target BSSIDs from security engagements. The censorship mode can be activated in approximately 2 seconds by accessing the recon dashboard, pressing A, scrolling down to the sensor option, and toggling it on. Once enabled, all network names and MAC addresses are immediately obfuscated, preventing accidental disclosure of sensitive network information during demos or recordings.
