Hackers are exploiting the interest in major Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournaments, such as the IEM Katowice 2025 and the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, to deceive users, hack their Steam accounts, and steal cryptocurrencies. The attackers use fake streams to lure victims and persuade them to disclose their sensitive information. This method allows cybercriminals to take control of Steam accounts and steal cryptocurrencies.
