Google Cloud Introduces Quantum-Safe Digital Signatures in Cloud KMS

Google Cloud has announced the integration of quantum-safe digital signatures into its Google Cloud Key Management Service (Cloud KMS) for software keys, aiming to strengthen encryption systems against the threat posed by cryptographically relevant quantum computers. This feature, currently in preview, operates alongside the post-quantum cryptography (PQC) standards set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
